Aluminum Conductor Alloy Reinforced (ACAR) is designed for overhead power transmission lines, combining aluminum 1350 H-19 wires with a 6201-T81 aluminum alloy core for optimal mechanical strength and electrical conductivity.

Construction Details
ACAR features aluminum 1350 H-19 wires concentrically stranded around a 6201-T81 aluminum alloy core. In certain designs, both wire types may be stranded in the same layer for enhanced performance.
