XLPE PVC Insulation 185 Sqmm 240 Sqmm LV Power Cable is designed for reliable power transmission and distribution in low voltage applications. This aluminum conductor cable features extruded cross-linked polyethylene insulation and high-density cross-linked polyethylene jacketing for superior performance.
Key Applications
Suitable for power transmission and distribution lines with rated voltage (U0/U) 0.6/1.0KV, specifically intended for underground systems operated at 600 volts or less.
Technical Specifications
- Maximum conductor temperature: 90°C during normal operation, 250°C during short circuit (maximum 5 seconds)
- Minimum installation temperature: 0°C
- Minimum bending radius: 12D (where D refers to cable diameter)
- Manufactured and tested in accordance with ANSI/ICEA Standard S-81-570
- UL 854 compliant with Type USE-2 listing when specified
Cable Construction
- Conductors: Class B compressed aluminum 1350-H19 meeting ASTM B231 or B786 requirements
- Insulation: Extruded black cross-linked polyethylene (XLPE)
- Jacket: Extruded high-density cross-linked polyethylene meeting ASTM D1248, Type III requirements
- Color coding: Phase conductor is black, neutral conductor is black with three extruded yellow stripes
