Motorized pulley is a new type of driving device that puts the motor and reducer together inside the pulley body. It is mainly used in fixed and mobile belt conveyors, instead of traditional motors, separate drive devices with reducers in addition to the drive pulley.

Motorized Pulleys are available from D138 mm to D1000 mm, with a variety of lagging options to provide a durable drive with a long service-life. Totally enclosed: motor, gearbox and bearings are totally enclosed and sealed inside a steel shell. Motorized Pulleys have a safe and worry-free design that withstands the harshest conditions and reduces operating costs.

Motorized Pulley Working Conditions:

1. The operating environment temperature is -15℃, +40℃;

2. The altitude does not exceed 1000 meters;

3. The temperature of the conveyed material does not exceed 60℃;

4. Voltage 380V, frequency 50Hz.

SPACE SAVING DESIGN:
the drive unit and the bearings are mounted inside the Motorized Pulley shell so it takes up much less room than a conventional drive. Due to its compact size and smooth lines, quite often the Motorized Pulley is out of sight, because it is hidden within the conveyor frame.

NO MAINTENANCE:
it requires no maintenance other than the recommended oil change every 30.000 hours standard oil, 50.000 hours synthetic oil (almost 10 years considering 8h/day for 5 days working).

SAFETY:
the Motorized Pulley is probably one of the safest drives available because the motor is completely enclosed and the external shafts are stationary.

LOWER ENERGY COST (EFFICENCY):
the Motorized Pulley has a much higher efficiency from electrical motor to shell (pulley face) than conventional drives, because it has fewer frictional losses and therefore mechanical efficiencies up to 97% can be achieved. Energy savings up to 35% compared to conventional exposed-drive conveyors.

LOW NOISE:
thanks to the totally sealed enclosure and high-quality gears the Motorized Pulley runs almost at a whisper, reducing noise to minimal decibel levels.
