High Performance Ring Fishing Magnet with Dual-Function Design for Well Junk Recovery and High Temperature Resistance
Ring Fishing Magnet is a new multifunctional downhole magnetic tool that serves both as a fishing magnet and a junk sub. It effectively integrates two functions: the ring magnet adsorbs magnetic impurities in drilling mud, while the cup structure recovers non-magnetic debris such as rock blocks.
Primarily applied in low-flow, low-circulation well washing operations, it delivers remarkable adsorption performance. The tool is available in two versions:
- Normal type (≤120°C)
- High Temperature Resistant type (≤200°C)
The tool combines magnetic capture and mechanical recovery in one trip. During low-displacement well circulation, the built-in ring magnet attracts and holds magnetic metal debris suspended in drilling fluid; simultaneously, the cup-shaped structure catches non-magnetic solids like rock fragments.
This dual-function design enables one-trip recovery of mixed downhole junk, significantly improving well cleanup efficiency.
