Product Overview
Drop-in check valve is an inside blowout control valve designed for cutting drill pipe on all types of offshore drilling floating equipment. It features a landing sub that connects to the required position of the drill string and is placed into the well to position the check valve assembly.
Operation & Function
The drop-in check valve is stored on the platform and deployed when blowout signals are detected. It is dropped into the drill pipe and pumped into position. When high-pressure flow upwelling occurs, the check valve cuts off the upward-injected high-pressure flow within the drill string, effectively achieving blowout prevention.
