Standard Sliding Block Spear for Compact Structure and Back-Off Operations in Downhole Fishing
The Sliding Block Spear is a versatile internal-fishing downhole tool widely deployed in oil-well workover operations. It engages internally with fish items that feature a bore inner-passage to retrieve lost down-hole components including drill pipe, tubing, washover pipe, liner, packer, and water distributor.
Besides standard fishing retrieval, this spear supports back-off operations for stuck fish. It can be run in combination with other service tools such as drilling jars and back-off tools to complete complex downhole jobs in one trip.
The tool features compact and simple mechanical structure, easy field operation, and convenient on-site maintenance. It is a reliable common-use fishing solution for various well-repair fishing scenarios.
