Product Overview
The CTC106-1 Housing Torque Sensor is designed to measure the pulling force value of tong torque during drilling operations. Installed on the tail rope of the tong, this sensor generates a force proportional to the engagement torque when drill pipe is engaged.
Operating Principle
When force acts on the piston inside the sensor, it transmits through connecting pipelines to the spring tube of the tong torque indicator. The free end of the spring tube generates displacement, which is amplified by the mechanism to cause pointer deflection, accurately indicating the pulling force of the tong's tail rope.
