High-performance forged and cast steel pulsation dampeners designed for reliable operation in demanding drilling applications. These units are fully interchangeable and compatible with Hydril "K" series, Emsco "PD" series, and Bomco "KB" series dampeners.

Install in vertical position with mating flange connection at the bottom. Position discharge dampener as close as possible to pump discharge port for optimal performance.

1. Install stud bolts in the replaceable bottom plate
2. Position dampener on gasket and mating flange with equal circumferential spacing
3. Install lubricated nuts on each stud and tighten evenly
4. Cross tighten nuts to specified torque values per bolting data

1. Access charging valve and pressure gauge by removing valve guard
2. Ensure all cover stud nuts are tightened evenly and seal nuts are firmly seated
3. Connect charging hose assembly from nitrogen bottle to dampener charging valve
4. Use standard commercially available nitrogen bottle with pressure regulator
5. Open bottle regulator valve until recommended precharge pressure is achieved

For applications requiring higher precharge pressures, a gas booster pump is recommended. Consult qualified personnel for specific precharging instructions based on system parameters.
