Product Description
0.5mm S type Platinum Rhodium Thermocouple Bare Wire
- Thermocouple Wire
Factory directly supply Type K thermocouple bare wire
We offer 0.3mm/0.4mm/0.5mm B/R/S type Platinum Rhodium Thermocouple Bare Wire that can be availed in different sizes as per the requirements of the clients.
We offer Bare Thermocouple Wires that can be availed in different diameter and length as per the requirements of the clients. They are always supplied in pair and calibrated. The Platinum Rhodium Thermocouple Wires that we deal in are used in varied applications related to the measurement of high temperature.
1)Type B (Platinum / Rhodium)
Suited for high temperature measurements up to 1800 °C. Unusually type B thermocouples (due to the shape of their temperature /
voltage curve) give the same output at 0 °C and 42 °C. This makes them useless below 50 °C.
2)Type R (Platinum / Rhodium)
Suited for high temperature measurements up to 1600 °C. Low sensitivity (10 µV/ °C ) and high cost makes them unsuitable for
general purpose use.
3)Type S (Platinum / Rhodium)
Suited for high temperature measurements up to 1600 °C. Low sensitivity (10 µV/ °C ) and cost makes them unsuitable for general
purpose use. Due to its high stability type S is used as the standard of calibration for the melting point of gold (1064.43°C).
