Inconel 600 Wire with 1354-1413 ℃ Melting Range 444 J/kg-°C Specific Heat and 1.010 Permeability for High-Temperature Applications
INCONEL (nickel-chromium-iron) alloy 600 (UNS N06600/W.Nr. 2.4816) is a standard engineering material for applications requiring corrosion and heat resistance. This alloy offers excellent mechanical properties with an optimal balance of high strength and workability.
The high nickel content provides resistance to corrosion by numerous organic and inorganic compounds while making it virtually immune to chloride-ion stress-corrosion cracking. Chromium enhances resistance to sulfur compounds and oxidizing conditions at high temperatures or in corrosive solutions. As a non-precipitation hardenable alloy, INCONEL 600 achieves strength through cold working.
This versatile alloy serves applications across extreme temperature ranges from cryogenic to above 2000°F (1095°C).
