Lamella Clarifier Introduction

The size of the gravity settler mentioned in the introduction is determined according to two parameters, namely the upflow rate of the liquid and the settling area. Therefore, under the same conditions, the effective area of the clarifier and the flake settler are the same. In the clarifier, the settling area is the surface of the water tank, and in the flake settler, the settling area is the total area of the inclined plate projected on the horizontal surface.

Compared with the clarifier, this can reduce the area occupied by the flake settlers by about 90%, so less land is required.
