Product Description
API Spec 8A/8C Type DD Center Latch Elevators are convention bottleneck center latch elevators to handle pipes in drilling operation. The elevators can be used at temperature from minus 20 ℃ to 70℃, and can accommodate plain shoulder drill pipes from 2-3/8 in to 5-1/2 in, working capacity as following: 150t(1350kN), 250t(2250kN), 350t(3150kN).
Elevator is a kind of tool used to lift drill pipe, tubing and casing pipe. It is suspended in the lifting rings on both sides of the hook of the hoisting system, so as to pull out or run in drilling tools, tubing and casing.
It is mainly used for clamping and lifting of tubing, casing, drill pipe and drill collar in oil and gas drilling and workover operations. The products are designed and manufactured according to the requirements of API Spec 8C.
