Press2 safety lancet 17G blade (width 1.5mm) * depth 2.0mm is similar to BD Microtainer™ Contact-Activated Lancet Blade 1.5mm*2.0mm, TERUMO CAPIJECT® Safety Lancet Blade 1.5mm*2.0mm and McKesson Push Button Safety Lancet 17G Blade*2.0mm. It is used for newborn heel blood sampling particularly which requires high blood volume.

Step 1: Twist off the heel lancet protective cap;
Step 2: Push the heel blade lancet firmly against the chosen sampling site;
Step 3: Dispose of the infant heel lancet into the suitable sharp container.
1. Safety lancet needle (21G, 23G, 26G, 28G, 30G) is for finger pricking, suitable for blood glucose and other rapid tests.
2. Blade safety lancet (17G, 18G, 21G) is for heel puncturing, specially for newborn screening tests.

Do not use newborn heel lancet if the protective cap fall off.
