Product Description
Step Drag Bits, also known as blade bits, feature Tungsten Carbide inserts on the blades. Designed for soft formations including sand, clay, and soft rock, these bits are ideal for water well drilling, mining, geothermal, environmental, and exploration applications.
When possible, use these bits for pilot holes as they produce cuttings that are easiest to log. Standard drag bits have 3 wings, but custom configurations of 4 or 5 wings can be manufactured according to your specifications.
Manufactured from forged high-quality alloy steel with premium tungsten carbide inserts, these bits benefit from state-of-the-art welding technology and multiple precision heat treatments. This ensures the highest penetration rates and longest lifespan even in the most demanding conditions.
