Introduction of fusible Interlining
Interlinings, necessary accessories of modern garments industries. Theoretically, anything used between 2 layers of fabric to give more body, obtain and maintain the shape, support a garment used in areas that need more stability than just the fabric weight or sometimes maintain drapability. It could be fusible or sew-in.
A fusible interlining is a thin layer made from woven, knitted or non-woven material bonded mechanically or thermally which when fused with fabric panel can give reinforcement, durability and can also stabilize and makes sewing work easier while sewing.
Interlining was very small proportion of the cost of garments, however it's also important to the garments which takes interlining. So choose right interlining is very important to garments maker. Sometimes, this very small cost part will ruin the whole garments. Now more and more various special finishing process fabric developed and special washing process make the request of interlining higher and higher
