Filter cage top cap is used for filter cage. It is welded to vertical wires of cage, so top cap is essential part of cage, which supports the cage and connects bags and CPO.
Mikropul top cap is a special one which has a gap/ opening and a groove. It is normally used for under installation bag house. Workers extend the top cap and insert to the Mikropul venturi or related venturi with a groove, and then clamp bag and cage to venturi.
Filter Cage Top Cap Function:
a) it is welded to the cage, so it is an essential part of cage
b) supporting top cap is on CPO or venturi, so bag and cage hangs when bag house works.
c) protecting top cap is hard and can cover bag top, so it can avoid some damages
