1. Specification
Star cage, also names pleat cage, spider cage, is the bone and framework of bag, supporting the bag running, is special designed and made for star bag. Star Cages are welded by special supporting rings (Spiders). We are specialized in Star Cages design, develop and process. We have own stretch line, cut line, weld line, coating line and check equipment. Providing a wide range of star filter cages for bag house collector, which improve the performance, efficiency and bottom line of the bag house dust collector and flue.

Star/pleat cage constructions typically consist of 12 or 16 vertical wires. The horizontal spider spacing on the cage can be 150-260mm, normally 250mm. If the top height of baghouse is not tall enough, two piece cages are available in joint of “twist-lock (globle joint)” .For areas where moisture or acid corrosion present we can provide a range of materials, often galvanized steel or stainless steel, also we supply silicon coating,zinc coating and electrophoresis coating to prolong filter cage service time. Top load baghouse cages are available with a T-flange, U-shape top cap, ring top or several styles of rolled flange tops. Star/pleat cage diameters are 110,120,138,144,150mm and customized. Wire thickness typically 4mm. pleat/star/spider cages for bottom load baghouses are constructed with a split collar or split ring top.

4. Pack of Cages

Our standard pack for cage is steel crate which is made of tube steel and laid steel plate at the crate bottom. The crate width does not excess 1140mm, so crate can be loaded in two pieces per the width of container, and the height of crate is subjected to the cage quantity and type of container. We seal the opening when cage put in. This kind of crate design can well protect cage and endure a long distance and time transportion.
