Gear is a common part in mechanical transmission, gear is made of high quality high-strength alloy steel, carburized and hardened surface treatment, strong bearing capacity, durable. The gear used by laser chuck can be divided into straight gear and helical gear. The overlap coefficient of helical gears is greater than spur gears, so the bearing capacity of helical gears is higher than spur gears. In practical application, helical gear is widely used in high speed and heavy duty occasions because of its characteristics of smooth transmission, low impact, vibration and noise. The biggest advantage of helical gears is high transmission accuracy, followed by high intensity and noise and vibration control (high end overlap, low harmonic resonance in modal analysis). Straight gears may even do better than helical gears purely from the point of view of motion smoothness (smoothness of line load curves).
