Lithium battery packs offer more than 2000 cycles of life, while lead acid batteries typically provide only around 500 cycles. You would need to purchase 3-4 lead acid batteries to match the lifespan of a single lithium battery. Lead acid batteries are also much larger and heavier than lithium batteries, making lithium battery packs suitable for more applications.
