The typical estimated life of LiFePO4 batteries is 5-8 years, or 2000 to 5000 charge cycles, depending on depth of discharge, working current rate, working temperature, and whether a balancer is used.
Q3: Can I use a normal solar controller with LiFePO4 batteries?
We recommend using LiFePO4/Lithium Ion solar controllers. Lead Acid controllers provide pulse currents that may damage the PCB over time, reducing protection capability.
