Description
SKD11 die steel is a kind of high carbon and high chromium cold working die steel widely used in the world. It belongs to ledeburite steel with high hardenability, hardenability and high wear resistance. It has good high temperature oxidation resistance, good corrosion resistance after quenching and polishing, and small deformation after heat treatment
Cold working processes include rolling, stretching, spinning, hammering, etc. As the amount of cold working increases, the material becomes harder due to deformation of the crystal structure, a process known as work hardening.
Application:
It is suitable for tool steel with complex deformation, various cold stamping dies with high wear resistance and long life, cold cutting edge, thread rolling plate, cold extrusion forming, drawing die, stainless steel sheet and blanking die for high hardness materials.

Detail information:
1) It is used for the drawing die of the back cover of the refrigerator compressor, and the quenching hardness is 56-58 HRC.
2) In order to improve the service life of D2 cold working die flat steel, the wear resistance and impact toughness of steel are greatly improved by adding rare earth, thereby improving the service life of round die flat steel.
3) Since the content of V and Mo in D2 steel is higher than that of Cr12MoV steel, D2 steel has better comprehensive properties, and the traditional Cr12MoV steel will be gradually replaced.
4) Compared with Cr12MoV steel, the life of cold stamping die of D2 steel rolling wheel and lower regulating plate can be increased by 5 to 6 times.
