Product Description
A bolt type shackle is a more secure version used in rigging that features the combination of a bolt and nut located alongside a cotter pin. The shackle offers a double safety which prevents accidental unscrewing of the pin. Our Bolt Type Shackle
is suitable for both one-leg and multi-leg systems.
Main features:
- All our shackles are quenched and tempered, with high quality carbon steel shackle bows and alloy steel pins.
- Shackles bows are all hot dip galvanized, pins are painted yellow or customized upon request.
- Meets or exceeds all requirements of ASME B30.26-2004 and RR-C-271D.
- Proof Load is 2 times of the Working Load Limit.
- Minimum Breaking Load is 4 times of the Working Load Limit for shackles with an WLL from 200T up to 400T.
- Minimum Breaking Load is 5.4 times of the Working Load Limit for shackles with an WLL from 30T up to 175T.
