Screw pin bow shackles feature a threaded pin design that enables quick connections and disconnections, making them ideal for temporary applications and repeated use scenarios. The large rounded bow shape accommodates multi-directional loading while maintaining structural integrity.
Key Applications
These shackles are specifically designed for multiple-leg sling configurations, connecting slings to load rings, and accommodating wider straps. Note that side-loading applications require appropriate working load limit reductions.
Safety Considerations
Always ensure the screw pin threads are fully engaged and tightened before each lift. In choker hitch configurations, live lines can cause pin rotation, requiring regular inspection and tightening.
