Our high capacity Cable Laid Grommet wire rope slings resist kinks while maintaining flexibility for easy handling. These endless slings are engineered for heavy duty lifting operations with superior performance characteristics.
Product Construction & Features
The Cable Laid Grommet is an endless wire rope lifting sling manufactured from one continuous length of steel wire rope. The unique construction features 6 outer ropes wrapped around a core rope, available in 6x37(a), 6x61(a), 8x61(a) and 8x61(ab) configurations with 1770 MPa tensile strength.
Continuous loop sling design for optimal load distribution
Available in wire rope or six strand body construction
Mechanical or hand spliced connection options
Steel core construction for enhanced carrying capacities
Rope ends tucked into body forming the core for maximum strength

Minimum Breaking Load: 3,301.0 tons
Single-leg Working Load Limit: 660.2 tons
Two-leg assembly WLL: 924.3 tons (at ≤45° angle)
Four-leg assembly WLL: 1,386.4 tons (at ≤45° angle)
