TALURIT ® UM Aluminum Ferrule (Ultragrip™)
The UM aluminum ferrule features a smaller diameter after pressing compared to the standard T ferrule, offering an economical alternative for wire rope grades up to 1960. Available in sizes from 09-90, these ferrules provide reliable mechanical splicing solutions for industrial lifting and rigging applications.
Product Specifications
Manufactured from seamless EN AW-5051A aluminum alloy extrusions, the UM ferrule complies with EN 13411-3 European standard (FSET) and Japanese standards for turnback ferrule or ferrule secured eye termination.
Applications
Designed for bright or galvanized single layer steel wire ropes with round strands up to fill factor 0.60 and grade 1960. Suitable for Ordinary or Lang lay rope types. For fibre core wire ropes larger than 60 mm, maximum rope grade is 1770. Wire ropes must conform to EN 12385-4 and 5 standards.
