ISO Wide Body Bow Shackle 7-1550 Ton Capacity with Safety Bolt and DNV Certification
The Wide Body Bow Shackle features an improved bow radius design that significantly extends the service life of wire rope slings. This high-capacity shackle includes a safety bolt, nut, and cotter pin assembly, making it an excellent choice for demanding heavy lifting applications. The enhanced bow geometry reduces wear on slings and allows for lighter wire ropes to handle equivalent loads. Hot-dip galvanized finish ensures long-term corrosion resistance and durability.
- Increases usable sling strength by minimum 15% and greatly improves wire rope sling lifespan
- Compatible with high-strength synthetic web slings, round slings, and wire rope slings
- All sizes quenched and tempered for maximum strength and reliability
- Forged alloy steel construction for 7-300 metric ton capacities
- Cast alloy steel construction for 400-1550 metric ton capacities
- Proof tested to 2 times working load limit for sizes up to 300 tons
- Tested to 1.33 times working load limit for sizes 400 tons and larger
- Hot-dip galvanized bows with yellow-painted screws and bolts
- Complies with ASME B30.26-2004 and RR-C-271D standards
- DNV type approval certification available upon request
