EG8145V5 is a GPON (ONT - Optical Network Terminal) designed as an ideal device for home gateway units (HGU - Home Gateway Unit) to be used in FTTH networks. This gateway supports Layer 3 functionality to facilitate the creation of a smart home network. It also provides the user with access to all Triple-play services (Internet, VoIP telephony, IPTV). Huawei EG8145V5 has been equipped with 4 Gigabit Ethernet ports , 1 telephone port (1x POTS) and 2x USB ports. EG 8145V5 has been equipped with a built-in wireless Wi-Fi radio operating in 2.4 and 5 GHz bands simultaneously(dual band). It supports modern AC standard and 2x2 MIMO dualchain technology, the maximum theoretical transmission speed is up to 300 Mbps in 2.4 GHz band and 867 Mbps in 5 GHz band. The device has two external antennas, each with 2 dBi gain. The set includes a DC 12V 1.5A adapter with European plug.
