Product Classification
Screw conveyor can be divided into axial screw conveyor and shaftless screw conveyor in terms of conveying form, and can be divided into U-shaped screw conveyor and tubular screw conveyor in terms of appearance. The axial screw conveyor is suitable for cohesionless dry powder materials and small particle materials (such as cement, fly ash, lime, grain, etc.) and shaftless screw conveyor is suitable for conveying sticky and easily entangled materials. (e.g. sludge, biomass, garbage, etc.).
Working principle
The rotating spiral blades push the materials to be transported by the screw conveyor. The force that makes the materials not rotate with the spiral conveyor blades is the weight of the materials themselves and the friction resistance of the spiral conveyor housing to the materials. The spiral blades welded on the rotating shaft of the screw conveyor have solid surface, belt surface, blade surface, etc. according to the different materials conveyed. The screw shaft of the screw conveyor has a thrust bearing at the end of the material movement direction to provide axial reaction to the screw with the material. When the captain is long, an intermediate hanging bearing should be added.
Application area
It is widely used in various industries, such as building materials, chemical industry, electric power, metallurgy, coal charcoal, grain and other industries. It is suitable for horizontal or inclined transportation of powdery, granular and small materials, such as coal mine, ash, slag, cement, grain and so on.
