Introduction

A centrifuge decanter is a robust and versatile separation device that utilizes centrifugal force to separate components of different densities within a mixture. Working Principle

The centrifuge decanter operates on the principle of sedimentation. When the mixture is fed into the rotating bowl of the centrifuge, the high-speed rotation generates a strong centrifugal force. This force causes the heavier solid particles to settle against the bowl wall, while the lighter oil and water phases form distinct layers based on their densities. The separated components are then discharged through different outlets.
