The equipment operates in two stages:

• In the concentration zone, the relative motion between fixed and moving rings allows efficient drainage of filtrate without blockages.

• In the dewatering zone, the volume of the spiral chamber gradually decreases, increasing internal pressure and enhancing solid-liquid separation through an adjustable back-pressure plate.
