Hazardous waste is disposed in an environmentally sound manner at the Hengyang high-temperature incineration plant.

The plant is divided into two identical lines that are operated independently of each other and have their own flue gas cleaning systems. This splitting ensures that the facility can be operated cost-effectively and safely at all times.

The waste heat generated by the incineration of the waste flows into Hengyang's district heating network. The energy generated is used to operate the site. This measure not only helps to reduce operating costs, but also to conserve natural resources.
