The screw conveyor operates through friction and thrust between rotating spiral blades and materials. When the driving mechanism rotates the screw shaft and attached blades, they generate axial thrust on materials. Due to gravity and casing friction, materials move forward along the casing axis without rotating with the blades, achieving continuous transportation through this "screw pushing" mechanism.
