Through the introduction of a customised hydrocyclone configuration and our Hydromax thickener technology we will:

• Remove silica contamination
• Remove clay contamination

Our equipment is introduced at the clarification and classification stage of bauxite processing. Each hydrocyclone configuration is designed to meet the specific requirements of your mining operation taking into account the nature of your feed material, throughput requirements and your desired classification point.

Our Hydromax thickener technology can then be introduced at the classification stage to assist with the separation of the bauxite residue from the pregnant liquor.

Following this a washing stage is introduced to separate the caustic soda from the alumina. At this point an additional filtration stage can be introduced with the specification of a filter press or centrifuge.
