This advanced 2000kW biomass gasification system efficiently converts organic waste materials into usable power through a controlled thermochemical process.
Gasification Process Technology
Oxidation Layer Operation
Combustion reactions occur in the oxidation area, releasing heat energy that supplies thermal energy to the reduction area for pyrolysis and drying processes. Hot gases (CO & CO2) from oxidation enter the reduction zone, while ash collects in the bottom chamber.
Reduction Layer Process
In the oxygen-free reduction area, CO2 from oxidation reacts with charcoal and vapor to produce CO and H2. Temperature decreases to 600-800°C due to the endothermic nature of reduction reactions. Primary outputs include CO, CO2, and H2 gases.
Gasification integrates material drying and pyrolysis simultaneously. In practical operation, the four process areas interpenetrate without clear boundaries, resulting in a gas mixture containing CO, CO2, H2, CH4, tar, minor alkanes, vapor, and minimal dust.
