Working Principle & Operation
All jaw crushers utilize two jaw plates: one stationary and one movable. The crushing mechanism operates through the reciprocating motion of the movable jaw, which compresses and fractures rock and ore materials between itself and the fixed jaw as material enters the crushing chamber.
The movable jaw cycles back and forth against the stationary jaw, compressing material fed from the top opening. As the movable jaw retracts, crushed material discharges through the bottom opening, with final product size determined by the gap setting between the jaws.
