Production Process Flow
1. Storage and Measurement
Raw materials including urea, ammonium phosphate, and potassium chloride are transported via bucket elevators and belt conveyors to storage bins for precise batching.
2. Extrusion Process
Mixed fertilizer materials are fed through a vertical screw feeder into the gap between two counter-rotating rollers. The extrusion principle shapes materials through gradual pressure increase, reaching maximum compression at the smallest roller gap position.
3. Crushing and Classification
Extruded plates are processed through a specialized plate crusher into uniform slices. Multi-stage screening separates particles into:
- Fine particles (recycled to mixer for re-extrusion)
- Oversized particles (returned to crusher for further processing)
- Final product (1-4mm granules)
4. Polishing and Coating
Final granules undergo polishing in rotating drums to round edges and corners. Anti-caking agents are applied during coating to prevent product clumping during storage.
