Overview
Expanding or Bust Anchors are made for installation in augured holes. The bust anchor is formed by expanding wings that flare out.
Feature
1) Made of metal with back paint
- For 8" (203 mm) Hole used with 0.625" (15.9 mm) or 0.75" (19.1 mm) Diameter Rod
- Take full advantage of the eight blade wedges to expand into undisturbed soil.
- Offers excellent holding power with minimal soil disturbance.
- Formed metal cavity on the underside of base unit accepts the nut of the anchor rod
- Nut retainer on bottom of anchor holds nut in place during installation
- The effectiveness of the anchor is dependent upon proper size hole and the thoroughness of backfill tamping
