Overview

Hot Line Tap  For Aluminum and ACSR conductor. • Designed for standard “hot stick” application. It provide an improved form of hot line clamp which is constructed of two parts, one of which is connected permanently to the transmission line, and the other of which is a connector unit to which a tap wire is attached, the connection between the parts being such as to present many advantages over known forms of clamps.

1- Brass and aluminum alloy castings offer high strength, corrosion-resistance and conductor compatibility
2-Extended jaw width means excellent conductor contact, reduced joint temperature, minimal conductor cold flow and reduced twisting of the conductor during installation
3-Spring loaded feature compensates for cold flow and offsets tightening torque vibrations
4-Forged eyebolts provide corrosion free strength and uniformed expansion under loading
