The TM-NT18 ceramic pressure sensor is a high-performance piezoresistive sensor manufactured using specialized ceramic substrate processes. Ceramic materials provide exceptional elasticity, corrosion resistance, wear resistance, shock resistance, and vibration tolerance. With thermal stability characteristics and high-temperature sintering processes, this sensor operates effectively within a temperature range of -40°C to 135°C, delivering high precision and stability. Featuring electrical insulation exceeding 2KV, this 18mm diameter sensor covers pressure ranges from 2 to 600 bar.

Operating Principle
This corrosion-resistant ceramic pressure sensor operates without liquid transfer, with pressure acting directly on the ceramic diaphragm surface. Thick film resistors printed on the diaphragm back connect to a Wheatstone bridge, generating a highly linear voltage signal proportional to pressure and excitation voltage. Standard signals are calibrated to 2.0/3.0 mV/V depending on pressure range, ensuring compatibility with strain sensors. Laser calibration provides excellent temperature and time stability, while built-in temperature compensation allows direct contact with most media. The elimination of liquid transfer prevents contamination, making ceramic sensors increasingly preferred over strain and diffusion silicon pressure sensors.
