Operation & Function
Sampling Mode (Open): The manual valve opens by rotating the handle (adjustable valve) or activating the lever (on/off valve). The stem and membrane retract to allow liquid flow.
Sterilization Mode (Closed): The built-in spring closes the valve while maintaining an open channel between hoses for reverse sterilization processes. For steam sterilization, an optional small pressure relief valve on the outlet is recommended.
Design & Construction
The aseptic sampling valve features a three-component design consisting of valve body, handle, and membrane. The rubber membrane, positioned on the valve stem, functions as a stretchable plug to ensure complete sealing.
