OS&Y Multi Turn Forged Pressure Seal Gate Valve
Custom size pressure seal gate valve designed for on-off service applications. This forged gate valve is engineered for reliable performance in demanding industrial environments.
Application & Installation
Gate valves are specifically designed for on-off service and are not recommended for throttling applications. Standard installation is in horizontal pipe runs with valve stem vertically up. For alternative orientations (vertical or horizontal with non-vertical stem), consult factory for special construction requirements based on valve size, service conditions, and materials.
Operation Guidelines
After closing the valve with sufficient force for shutoff, back off the stem slightly (1/8 to 1/4 turn) to relieve stem load. This prevents stem bending or valve damage while maintaining shutoff integrity.
