ADSS Fiber Optic Cable
ADSS cable is stranded loose tube cable. A loose tube constructed of high modulus polymers is filled with 250μm fibers. A water-resistant filling material is used to fill the tubes. The tubes (and fillers) are stranded into a compact and circular cable core around a FRP (Fiber Reinforced Plastic) as a non-metallic central strength part. After the filling compound has been applied to the cable core. It has a thin PE inner shell covering it. The ADSS Fiber Optic Cable is finished with a PE or AT (anti-tracking) outer sheath after a stranded layer of aramid yarns is put over the inner sheath as a strength member.
