The GYFTY33 waterproof optical fiber cable adopts an improved design derived from the standard GYFTY cable configuration, featuring upgraded water resistance and crush protection capabilities. Its construction process involves:
- 1.Longitudinal application of aluminum tape for moisture barrier
- 2.Extrusion of polyethylene (PE) inner protective layer
- 3.Longitudinal reinforcement with either single or dual layers of fine steel wire armor
- 4.Final extrusion of polyethylene outer jacket to complete the cable assembly
This multi-layer architecture significantly enhances mechanical durability and waterproof performance compared to conventional designs.
