The GYTS fiber optic cable features centrally located optical fibers housed in a loose tube, with non-metallic fillers and tubes helically (SZ) stranded around a central metallic strength member. The core is fully filled with a water-blocking compound to ensure moisture resistance. A longitudinally applied steel tape armor (PSP) provides mechanical protection, and the entire structure is finished with a durable polyethylene (PE) outer sheath.
