ADSS Outdoor Fiber Optic Cable – Ideal for Aerial Applications
The ADSS cable features a loose tube design with 250μm fibers housed in high-modulus plastic tubes filled with water-blocking gel. These tubes are stranded around a non-metallic FRP central strength member, forming a compact core. The core is filled with a moisture-resistant compound and wrapped with a PE inner sheath. Aramid yarn is applied as a strength layer, and the structure is finished with a PE or anti-tracking (AT) outer sheath for enhanced durability in aerial installations.
