Product Description
GYFTY is an outdoor optical fiber cable with a non-metallic strength member, ideal for communication applications. It uses a loose tube, gel-filled design and is protected with a polyethylene (PE) outer sheath.
Inside the cable, single-mode or multi-mode fibers are housed in high-modulus plastic loose tubes, filled with a water-blocking gel for moisture resistance. The cable's central strength member is non-metallic (FRP), providing structural integrity without electrical conductivity.
In some designs, an additional PE layer or non-metallic yarn is added around the FRP for enhanced strength. The loose tubes and filler elements are stranded around the central core in a circular configuration. The entire core is filled with water-blocking compounds, and the cable is finished with a durable polyethylene sheath, ensuring long-term outdoor performance.
