48 96 Core Aerial Figure 8 Fiber Optic Cable | GYTC8S Self-Supporting Overhead Use
GYTC8S is a standard self-supporting outdoor aerial fiber optic cable with a stranded loose tube design, available in fiber counts from 1 to 144 cores. It consists of a messenger wire, PE sheath, and stranded loose tubes filled with optical fibers, plus armor protection. The corrugated steel tape armor with PE outer sheath provides excellent crush resistance and even protection against gunshot impacts. A central steel-wire strength member enhances tensile strength, surrounded by loose tubes and a water-blocking system for added durability. This cable is ideal for aerial installation in long-distance transmission and LAN communication networks.
