The inner tube of the double-layer plastic tube is made of PP (polypropylene), which effectively prevents the gradual evaporation of liquid additives and ensures the long-term stability of the sodium citrate solution concentration. In addition, a dry surface is beneficial to obtain accurate and reliable test results.

The outer tube is made of PET, which ensures the long-term stability of the vacuum during the shelf life. The blood collection tubes made of PET and PP can withstand the relative centrifugal force of 2500-3000g to obtain platelet-free plasma (PFP).
