Ion Exchange Technology:

Ion Exchange refers to the use of ion exchange reagent ,which makes reversible exchange between exchangers and exchangeable ions in water solution to exchange ,which leads to the improvement of water quality ,while the structure of the ion exchange does not change substantially .Ion exchange technology is applied widly in the field of water treatment . Such as water softening,water desalination ,preparation of high purity water preparation ,the treatment of industrial effluent,heavy metals and precious metals recovery and so on .

Ion exchangers are generally classified as non aircraft(natural sea green sand,synthetic zeolite,sulfonated coal....)And organic type(organic synthesis cation exchange resin,anion exchange resin ,redox resin,amphoteric resin and clelating resin...) The most commonly used organic synthesis is cation exchange resin and anion exchange resin.
The material of the vessel of ion exchange can be divided into carbon steel lining ,stailess steel, rigid polyvinyl chloride ,plexiglass ,glass fiber reinforced plastics etc ,so that it can meet the different requirement .
The principle of softening:

Softening Technology is an ion exchange device that take the cation ion exchange into exchange vessel ,called cation ion exchange column ,simply speak softener bed .

Application of softening bed:

The softening bed is usually used before the RO Device ,that can reduce and remove Ca2+,Mg2+ in the water to prolong the time that inorganic salt scaling on the RO Device scales ,that can protect RO membrane system .It can also be set in front of the EDI device to acheive requirement of EDI inlet to prevent EDI Mold scale and ensure water quality .in addtion ,the softened bed is usually used for making up of the middle-high pressure boiler ,chemcial ,papermaking process water applications, etc .so as to reduce hardness in the water .
