Wuxi Special Ceramics offers cordierite materials with dense and porous structures, distinguished by outstanding thermal shock resistance combined with high heat resistance and electrical insulation strength.
Cordierite ceramics are classified into C410, C511, C520, and C530 grades in compliance with IEC672 standards. These ceramic materials are based on cordierite, a magnesium aluminium silicate mineral with extremely low thermal expansion, and contain additives of mullite, corundum, and silicon carbide.

Ceramic Bobbin for Water Heater Applications
Ceramic bobbin heaters are manufactured using porous cordierite (C520) ceramic heating elements with integrated wiring. These heaters efficiently heat liquids and semi-solid materials including water, oil, wax, fats, and bitumen. They are primarily used for direct air heating and indirect heating of liquids and gases, where the element is installed into a pocket within the process tank or system, allowing for replacement without draining the system or vessel.
